Our Process
1. Inquiry
Fill out our inquiry form here or send us an email with all your event information (event type, date, location, venue, and guest count). Feel free to mention any ideas or inspiration you may want to incorporate into your design (and let us know how you found out about PWB!). After we receive your initial inquiry, a follow up phone consultation will help us to get a better idea of what your interests are, determine the best match of our services to your budget, and allow us to discuss any other topics regarding timing, content, or other general questions you may have.
2. All The Details
After we’ve plotted the course to create something stunning for you it’s time to organize all the specifics. We will send you links to two important questionnaires: the first for wording and content, another for all design-related details. The information from these questionnaires is then used to provide you with a comprehensive print quote, our design and printing contract and a stationery timeline to establish a schedule of important dates.
3. Quote and Contract
As soon as your signed contract and payment have been received, work on your digital design proof will be underway.
4. Getting Creative
The design phase for invitations and stationery will take approximately 3 to 5 weeks, depending on the complexity of your design. Any projects with custom illustration may begin with client approval of a preparatory sketch before final artwork is created. Layouts will then be arranged and typeset to perfection. After you receive your initial digital design proof, you will have the opportunity to make two rounds of revisions.
5. Proof Approval
Once your design proof is perfected, the final version will be sent with a confirmation form for your approval by signature. Paper With Benefits will then move your job into production.
6. Printing & Production
Depending on the complexity of your design, materials to be ordered, and method of printing, the turnaround time for the production of your invitation suite or other printed materials can take approximately 4 to 6 weeks.
7. Shipping and Delivery
Once printing is completed each piece is inspected, packaged with care, and shipped to you. For clients hiring a calligrapher to address their envelopes by hand, PWB will ship your envelopes directly to them with the address you provide.
